Photography print of authentic Faroese wooden boats in Kirkjubøur village, Faroe Islands.

This photograph shows traditional Faroese wooden boats resting between historic village houses in Kirkjubøur, one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in the Faroe Islands. Hand-built and still used today, these boats represent a living maritime tradition shaped by generations of coastal life. Photographed in natural light, the scene highlights weathered wood, stone walls, and subdued North Atlantic tones, capturing the quiet, timeless atmosphere of everyday life in a preserved Faroese village.

Each photograph is created by Andrija Ilić, a photographer based in the Faroe Islands. The entire process — from planning and going out into nature, to capturing the scene, editing, printing, cutting, packing, and shipping — is handled by the photographer, ensuring an authentic and original work.

Available as a fine art photography print, printed on Canon photo paper using ink colours, unframed.

Free worldwide shipping, tracking included.

Orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days.

Prints are shipped flat, not rolled. Each photograph is placed in a plastic protective sleeve, secured between two protective foam boards, and carefully packed in a padded envelope to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

This flat packaging allows you to enjoy the print immediately, without the need to flatten or unroll it.

All photos are authentic. No elements are added or taken away. The scenery, subject, timing, and ambient light are all real. Final refinements such as highlights, shadows, contrast, and colour balance are adjusted in Photoshop.
